Highlights at Piscina Barcelona 2025

SopremaPool successfully took part in Piscina Barcelona 2025, held from 17–20 November at Fira Barcelona, Spain. Once again, the event confirmed its position as Europe’s most international platform for the swimming-pool, wellness and outdoor industries.

This year’s edition welcomed more than 17,000 professionals — a 20% increase compared to 2023 — and featured 428 exhibitors from 30 countries, highlighting the strong momentum and continued growth of the sector (Piscina Barcelona).

A complete range of reinforced membranes for every type of pool

At the SOPREMA stand, visitors had the opportunity to explore the full SopremaPool range of reinforced membranes designed for private pools, public facilities, sports complexes and hospitality projects. Our systems are recognised for their ease of installation, excellent watertightness, durability and wide variety of colours and textures, offering solutions suitable for both new-build and renovation projects.

Spotlight on the new Mineral Collection and SOPRABLOC

One of the main attractions was the launch of the SopremaPool Mineral collection, inspired by natural stone and designed to deliver a premium aesthetic with seamless, joint-free finishes. The stand also featured a full technical mock-up showing every layer of the complete SopremaPool system — from Soprabloc (EPS block for the structure) to the final reinforced membrane.

This mock-up became one of the most visited elements of the stand, drawing strong interest from installers, architects and design-focused professionals seeking a deeper understanding of the full technical solution.

As part of this system display, Soprabloc — the structural EPS block — stood out for its insulating properties. In addition to providing mechanical strength and dimensional stability, it significantly improves thermal performance, helping the pool retain water heat for longer periods. This contributes to enhanced energy efficiency, reduced heating costs and greater overall comfort for users — a benefit increasingly valued in both private and public pool projects.

Presentation of the new Public Pool Solutions Catalogue

SopremaPool also introduced its new Public Pool Solutions Catalogue, a comprehensive technical guide for sports facilities, wellness centres, hotels and large public pools. It details complete system assemblies, waterproofing and installation advantages designed for high-demand environments.

The 2025 edition fostered excellent interaction with professionals from multiple countries, including installers, distributors, architects and design-focused visitors. Our stand became a dynamic meeting point for technical discussions, project consultations and hands-on demonstrations, reinforcing SopremaPool’s role as a trusted partner for both design and technical performance.

Aligned with global trends in the pool industry

The European and international pool markets continue to expand, with a combined valuation above USD 7 billion and a projected growth rate exceeding 8% through 2032 (Global Market Insights):

• an increasing focus on renovation, as countless existing pools require upgrades
• and a strong shift toward sustainability
